Sanitation Lead Technician

Overview

Lead and work alongside the third-shift sanitation team to complete daily cleaning tasks. Perform sanitation duties on production equipment and facility areas. Train and mentor team members on proper cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and safety practices. Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with SSOP, HACCP, and GMP standards. Serve as the go-to person for sanitation issues during the shift. Operate cleaning tools and equipment, including power scrubbers, foamers, and forklifts.

Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in sanitation within a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety practices.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
