Position: AUDIOLOGIST, STAFF (MA)

Provide comprehensive audio logic diagnostic and/or therapeutic services to clients in a variety of clinical settings.

Responsibilities

Provides diagnostic and/or treatment services with 5% or less supervision. Independently delivers services in clinical areas such as Vestibular Function, Pediatric Testing, Adult Testing, Hearing Aid Dispensing, and others including A , Aural habilitation/rehabilitation, Auditory Processing, and FM systems. Consistently selects, uses, and accurately interprets appropriate testing materials and instrumentation based on presenting needs and department protocols. Seeks input and feedback from patients/caregivers consistently, utilizing a variety of strategies to assure successful communication.

Documentation completed with 5% or less supervision, ensuring thorough discussion of reason for referral, problem/goals, interpretation of results, progress and recommendations. Makes appropriate clinical recommendations and referrals, and follows department procedures. Human work documentation consistently includes reason for visit, assessment and plan of action. Clinical documentation accuracy at least 85% of the time; departmental documentation (e.g., HW hours, billing, therapy attendance) accurate and complete at least 95% of the time.

Communicates findings, recommendations, and therapeutic goals clearly. Performs outreach activities at least once per year. Proactively monitors clinical schedule and prioritizes billable patient care. Performs instrument and equipment problem‑solving. Demonstrates teamwork and participates in outreach.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience. AuD or Masters in Audiology. NYS License in Audiology, NYS Hearing Aid Dispensing Certification or eligible, ASHA‑CCC or American Academy of Audiology membership. Ability to exercise universal precautions and use PPE. Own transportation required. Excellent customer service, communication, organizational and time‑management skills.
