Territory Manager - POUGHKEEPSIE NY

Lilly is committed to helping people suffering from autoimmune diseases. Responsibilities
  • Territory Management: Develops a strong understanding of the territory and reimbursement landscape and uses business insights tools to analyze and adapt to business needs.
  • Account Management: Navigates the changing healthcare environment to understand accounts and impact key stakeholders to become a trusted partner.
  • Dialogue Agility (Selling Skills / Customer Experience): Actively listens and adapts to verbal and non-verbal customer prompts throughout the call.
  • Medical Integrity: Demonstrates learning agility to understand clinical information, the product portfolio, and the therapeutic marketplace; uses this information to engage with every member of an office/account.
  • Selling

    Skills:

    Promotes the entire product portfolio by planning for and engaging in a patient-centered dialogue; identifies appropriate patients using the selling model.
  • Execution / Results – Sales Activity: Uses available business analytics to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals while adhering to internal policies and PhRMA code.
  • Partner

    Collaboration:

    Collaborates effectively with field-facing and internal peers to create a coordinated and positive customer experience.
Qualifications
  • Basic: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Licensing: Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by a specific state.
  • Driver: Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Work Authorization: Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide sponsorship for work authorization or visas.
  • Additional Locations:
    Poughkeepsie, Newburgh, Middletown
Additional Skills / Preferences
  • Two or more years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical) after completing a bachelor’s degree.
  • Other work experience following undergraduate degree or a graduate degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, Pharm

    D).
  • Demonstrated business ownership, selling/customer experience, and execution/results skills.
  • Account-based selling experience with ability to engage staff members in accounts.
  • Strong ability to navigate within complex integrated health systems.
  • Experience with specialty pharmacy distribution models and selling injectable/infusion therapies in a complex reimbursement environment.
  • History of working with multiple cross-functional partners.
  • Strong learning agility, self-motivation, team focus, emotional intelligence and influence.
  • Must live within 30 miles of the territory boundary.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and location. Anticipated wage for this position is $87,000 - $187,000. Full-time employees may be eligible for a company bonus and a comprehensive benefits program including 401(k), pension, medical/dental/vision, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, vacation, and well-being benefits.
