Medical Assistant - Float Team - Region B
Part‑time, Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
$2,000 SIGN‑ON BONUS (External Hires Only)

Region B: Covers medical offices in Sharon, Millerton, Lagrangeville, Wappingers Falls, Hopewell, Fishkill.

Summary: Provides clerical and administrative support and coordinates patient care activities for medical practice.

• Greets and welcomes patients upon arrival and communicates pleasantly and effectively.
• Ensures accuracy of patient information, including demographics and insurance.
• Answers phones, routes calls, takes messages, and ensures accurate communication both verbally and via the EMR system.
• Registers, verifies, and schedules patient appointments, testing, and referrals.
• Schedules and reschedules appointments according to office protocols.
• Monitors applications and manages worklists as applicable.
• Collects co‑pays and reconciles money for deposit.
• Obtains and coordinates record retrieval for new and established patients.
• Performs intake and processing of medical records and other documentation where applicable.
• Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Maintains and models the organization’s values.
• Demonstrates regular, dependable, and predictable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Ability to travel between practices as needed.

Salary Range: $18.13 – $34.50 per hour

• Must have experience as a Medical Assistant, CNA or PCT.
