HVCU Intern - Payment Operations

Overview

Primary function:
Participate in HVCU's Internship Program from June 8th - July 31st
. Provide support to the Payment Operations department by completing projects and tasks that build hands‑on experience across key functions. Pay rate: $22/HR

• Adhere to Credit Union's work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior.
• Be consistent and punctual in the submission of all work assignments.
• Ask for help. This is a learning experience; if you are unsure, please ask for clarification.
• Apply knowledge acquired in the academic setting to your internship.
• Assume personal and professional responsibilities for actions and activities.
• Maintain professional relationships with department employees, members, volunteers and vendors.
• Utilize a courteous, enthusiastic, open‑minded, critical approach to policies and procedures within the department.
• Ensure departmental compliance with all Credit Union policies and procedures as well as Federal and State regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development, including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
• Embrace and apply HVCU's guiding principles to all activities and responsibilities. Support the Credit Union's initiatives by demonstrating teamwork and professionalism.

• GPA 3.0+
• Business, finance, or related field of study
