General Statement Of Job The Director, Systems Change Facilitator, will provide leadership to the Regional Partnership Center, including conducting regional and district needs assessments and deploying the resources of the specialists, under the direction of Office of Special Education. The Systems Change Facilitator will be the expert on implementation science and systems change.

Terms Of Employment- Full-time, 12-month, Length of Project
- District-level Administrative assignment, Tenure Track
- Competitive salary; $120,000 $ 135,000 negotiable based on qualifications and experience

REPORTS TO: Deputy Superintendent
SUPERVISES: Mid-Hudson Regional Partnership Center Staff
Qualifications, Experience And CompetenciesMinimum Qualifications:
- Masters Degree or above in Special Education and/or related field
- At least three years experience as a teacher or related service provider with students with disabilities
- Knowledge of special education law, regulations, and policy
- Valid NYS teacher and/or administrative certification
- Experience providing professional development and/or technical assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in IEP development
- At least three years experience in building/district leadership role
- Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating school improvement initiatives
- Excellent presentation, organizational and time-management skills
- Experience in the leadership, development, and support of teams
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, relationship building and organization skills
- Ability to travel throughout the Mid-Hudson region
- Ability participate in at least one overnight trip to Albany annually
Skills And Abilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain grant and ensure deliverables are being met
- Hire, supervise, and evaluate staff specialists
- Develop and maintain contract budget
- Maintain and submit all required reports to NYSED OSE
- Engage in regional planning process in collaboration with NYSED OSE in order to deploy resources aligned to OSE priorities
- Facilitate regional level team to review and update regional work plan
- Coordinate monthly meetings with Early Childhood and School-age Family and Community Engagement Centers
- Plan, facilitate, and conduct regional team check-ins for fidelity coaching, professional development, problem-solving, observations, feedback, and direct support from the Technical Assistance Partnerships
- Serve as a rotating member of the Partnership Implementation Team
- Conduct needs assessments with identified district to determine staff deployment, and to better understand systems change required within that district
- Provide professional development to staff in collaboration with the Technical Assistance Partnership
