Overview
Nuvance Health Department of Thoracic Surgery is seeking a board-certified part-time thoracic surgical physician assistant to join its group at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. This position is hospital focused with limited office exposure.
Responsibilities- Surgical first assisting, daily rounds, consults, admissions and discharges.
- Collaborate with vascular surgery as needed.
- The qualified candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and be NCCPA certified, with strong surgical and patient management experience.
- Candidates with at least one year of surgical experience preferred.
