Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, New York,just 90 minutes north of New York City, is seeking a per diem Orthopedic Surgeon to provide additional call coverage for a busy and growing group.

This is an employed position with Nuvance Health Medical Practice.

Located on the banks of the scenic Hudson River, Vassar Brothers Medical Center has a new 752,000 square-foot, eight-level inpatient pavilion with 263 private medical/surgical patient rooms and 30 critical care rooms. Vassar provides the leading acute and critical emergency care in the region, including Level II Trauma Service and Interventional Neuroradiology. Vassar has established centers of excellence in cardiac services, neurosciences, cancer care, and women’s health.

Vassar is consistently ranked as one of the strongest cardiac programs in the United States and one of the Top 100 Heart Hospitals by Modern Health Care Magazine.
