Position:
Project Architect (Part‑Time)
Salary: $55 – $65 per hour
Responsibilities- Lead projects through all phases, from initial client meetings through construction
- Develop and coordinate design concepts, technical solutions, and construction documents
- Manage schedules, budgets, and internal staffing
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors
- Coordinate zoning, planning, and building‑department submissions
- Participate in construction administration, including site visits, submittals, RFIs, and OAC meetings
- Mentor junior staff and guide production workflows
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
- 5–10+ years of experience in a U.S.‑based architecture firm
- Licensed or licensure in progress preferred
- Strong experience with construction documents and project management
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite (required)
- Knowledge of NYS building codes and zoning a plus
- Must be local to the Hudson Valley for in‑person collaboration and site visits
- $55–$65 per hour, commensurate with experience
- Part‑time, in‑person position with a consistent weekly schedule during normal business hours
