Description
Position Title: Welding Lead
Location: Pottstown, PA – 75% Travel
Position Type: Full Time, Hourly
Position Summary:The Welding Lead supports the Welding Foreman by overseeing welding quality, mentoring welders, and ensuring proper technique and safety. This role is hands‑on and focused on craftsmanship and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform and oversee welding tasks (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux‑Core).
- Inspect welds for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Train and support junior welders and apprentices.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper usage.
- Assist the Foreman with workflow coordination and troubleshooting.
- Promote a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of welding experience.
- Proficiency in multiple welding processes and materials.
- Ability to read welding symbols and fabrication drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
