Sales Development Representative

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate new business through targeted outbound prospecting and lead development.
• Follow up on direct shipments to identify upsell opportunities and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
• Manage inbound enquiries relating to orders, pricing, availability, and order status.
• Identify and execute cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Rockland’s antibody and immunochemistry portfolio.
• Deliver responsive, solution-focused customer support, recommending appropriate products to meet technical requirements.
• Accurately record, manage, and update all customer interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activity within the CRM system
• Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of Rockland’s product range, applications, market trends, and competitive landscape.
• Support marketing initiatives by distributing relevant collateral to customers and channel partners.
• Represent Rockland at industry trade shows and scientific conferences to generate leads and support brand visibility.
• Maintain and manage customer contact data to support Sales Account Manager prospecting and pipeline development.

• Experience in a science related environment preferred
• Availability to travel 20% of time
• Must have ability to use MS Word, MS Excel, and other MS Office applications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education experience
