NOW HIRING A COMPASSIONATE COOK FOR OUR NURSING HOME KITCHEN

Make a difference with every meal. We're looking for a dedicated and caring cook to join our friendly team in creating nutritious, home-style meals for our wonderful residents.

Shifts Available:

• 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Full-time and Part-time positions available

Includes alternating weekends and holidays.

• Prepares food as assigned according to standardized recipes to provide residents with consistently accurate, tasteful, and cost-effective meals.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlines standards, ensuring that the food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items for quality control.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintain standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Serv Safe Certification preferred or will become Serv Safe certified after hired.
• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
