Facilities & Maintenance Technician

The Eastwood Company is looking for a versatile Facilities & Maintenance Technician to support building operations, equipment maintenance, safety inspections, and general facility needs. This role requires strong technical skills, reliability, and the ability to manage diverse tasks across the facility and grounds.

• General Facility Maintenance
  • Perform building repairs: lighting, ceilings, walls, baseboards, painting, doors, and hardware.
  • Maintain floors, strip/seal periodically, and support ongoing concrete and blacktop repairs.
  • Handle plumbing repairs (sinks, toilets) and replace A/C filters as needed.
  • Manage pest control, snow removal, grounds cleanup, and weekly plant care.

• Safety & Compliance
  • Conduct monthly inspections: fire extinguishers, emergency lights, fire pump.
  • Maintain AED units, eyewash stations, and ensure CPR training compliance.
  • Manage hazardous waste and coordinate proper disposal.
  • Maintain company generator.

• Equipment & Warehouse Maintenance
  • Maintain/repair forklifts, conveyor systems, tape machines, compressors, bubble machines, and refrigerators.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and add circuits as needed.
  • Install and maintain warehouse racking.
  • Clean product spills and support product testing/repair.

• Supply & Inventory Support
  • Order and restock restroom and toiletry supplies.
  • Restock coffee each morning.
  • Order repair parts and materials.
  • Manage trash and metal recycling.

• Training & Operational Support
  • Train and certify forklift drivers.
  • Assist with office installations (whiteboards, signage, etc.).
  • Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for company functions.
  • Organize equipment and supplies for company events and car shows.

• Additional Duties
  • Support general facility improvement projects as assigned.

• Experience in facility maintenance, industrial repair, or similar role preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift 50+ lbs.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.

Schedule
Monday - Friday, occasional weekend work
