Position Description

This opportunity is in the Site Engineering organization at Constellation’s Limerick Generating Station. The successful candidate(s) will work in either the Strategic Engineering or Design Engineering section. The Strategic Engineering section supports all aspects of station operation and maintenance, while the Design Engineering section handles modifications, design changes, and resolution of technical issues.

Co‑op Responsibilities

• Analyze data using spreadsheet programs and review computerized data.
• Compile data to support analysis and prepare performance indicators.
• Support preparation of reports for presentation to senior station management.
• Assist with system walk‑downs, work‑up of plant systems and instrumentation, maintenance inspections, preliminary design change packages, and research equipment specifications.

Qualifications

• Basic engineering skills with an understanding of practical applications.
• Preferred majors:
  Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology.

Experience Levels Sought

• Intermediate – Some related work or volunteer experience / second co‑op.
• Advanced – Previous related work experience / final co‑op.

Education and GPA Requirements

Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.00; minimum major GPA: 2.8. Students must provide GPA on their resumes.

Location

Limerick Nuclear Power Plant, 3146 Sanatoga Road, Pottstown, PA 19464.

Reliable transportation to and from the work site is required.

Compensation

Hourly paid with a housing stipend provided for candidates living more than 50 miles away from the work location.

Approximate hours per week: 40.
