• This swim instructor is responsible for instructing all swim lesson participants
• This position is also responsible for the safety of the participant in their own group
• Work hours as scheduled which includes arriving 5 minutes prior to the lesson start time
• Instructs and evaluates students participating in swim lessons
• Submits completed time on time
• Attends mandatory meetings and training sessions as scheduled
• Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency
• Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service
• All other duties as assigned and appropriate

• American Red Cross Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR & AED
• Ability to positively interact with the general public
• Submission of PA School Personnel Health form
• Current Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114 clearances

• Starting Rate- $17.00 per hour, Instructor; $15.00 per hour Assistant; $13.50 per hour Aide
• Salary and benefits according to the negotiated agreement between the Board of School Directors
