Location: High School

Provide support to the Student Assistant Services Department.

• Conduct drug and alcohol assessments and make recommendations.
• Provide guidance information and resources.
• Make referrals to appropriate community resources in accordance with school district guidelines.
• Coordinate and implement group guidance programs—including anger management, grief, COA, changing families, anxiety, social skills, stress management, peer relations, and other topics as deemed necessary.
• Respond to crisis situations when appropriate.
• Collaborate with and support the Student Assistant Services Department.

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
• Master’s Degree and/or License in a related field preferred.
• Effective interpersonal skills; ability to develop good relationships with students, peers, parents, and the community.
• Well organized with good time management skills.
• Ability to express oneself clearly and concisely in oral and written communications, and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups.
• Computer literate and competent with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
• Submission of PA School Personnel Health form.
• Current Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114 clearances.

$25.00 per hour, 499 hours for the year.
