Join the team as a Maintenance Assistant where you will help create a well‑presented and safe environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society. You will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are fit for purpose, maintaining gardens and conducting audits to identify and repair faults, ensuring a safe environment for service users, staff and visitors. You’ll receive all necessary training and have access to courses to grow and develop your career.

• Assisting with ensuring that the service, buildings, facilities and equipment requirements are maintained and fit for purpose.
• Utilising good DIY skills to ensure safety of service users.
• Assisting in regular checks and maintenance.
• Assisting in the repair and maintenance of all buildings.
• Assisting in all decorating.
• Liaising with a manager reporting all faults and defects.
• Participating in a one‑week retaining on‑call rota for emergency maintenance.
• Coordinating and supporting contractors on site and completing all paperwork and tool checks.

• Compliance with system and procedures.
• Previous experience within a maintenance role.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Show courtesy and respect to residents at all times to ensure they enjoy the highest quality of service.
• Attend and participate in training sessions and staff meetings.

• Annual base salary of £25,058.
