Chef Manager - Permanent
About the Role1 Year Fixed Term, following successful 6-month probation, leading to a Permanent Role.
Predominantly Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work
Earn up 30,000
Whilst no qualifications are required, they are desirable, however, previous experience of working in a kitchen/catering environment is essential. All applicants will complete a comprehensive training programme in conjunction with our mentoring scheme upon arrival to Cuffley. However, you do need the following:
Experience in a similar kitchen/catering role, preferably with managerial experience/knowledge
Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
A high level of interpersonal skills and team values
Good communication skills
Good IT skills for emails, stock take etc.
ResponsibilitiesMaintaining a hygienic and safe working environment
Cooking and serving food to students and staff
Managing the food budget
Managing the dietary requirements of students and staff
Maintenance of stock levels and ordering
Working with multiple departments to ensure clear and concise communication
Training and DevelopmentEnhanced Safeguarding Training
Level 3 Food Hygiene & Safety Qualification
External First Aid Qualification
Access to Online Training Modules
