At Falls Road Veterinary Hospital, we offer primary care, grooming, bathing, and daycare services for dogs and cats in Potomac, the DC-Metro area, and Montgomery County. We are dedicated to providing your pets with the best veterinary care possible. We offer a wide range of services, from routine physicals and vaccinations to diagnostic procedures and surgeries. Our talented, experienced staff can offer you and your pets the highest quality care close to home.

Falls Road Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced Pet Groomer to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

We believe that grooming plays a critical role in a pet's health and the human-animal bond. Our groomers take pride in not only their outstanding skills and compassion but also their client communication and customer service!

• Perform full-service grooming, including bathing, brushing, drying, haircuts, styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning and sanitary trims
• Safely and humanely handle pets of varying sizes, breeds, temperaments and coat types
• Report any abnormal presentation of pets in the care of the hospital or grooming salon to the attending veterinarian and technical staff
• Assess coat and skin condition and communicate any concerns (matting, skin issues, parasites) to pet owners and medical team.
• Maintain an organized, safe and hygienic grooming workspace.

• Previous experience as a professional pet groomer required
• Knowledge of breed-specific cuts and coat care techniques
• Proficiency in safely using grooming tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
