Support Specialist

Overview

ASC Park Potomac is seeking a Support Specialist. At ASC Park Potomac, we are dedicated to providing superior outpatient surgical care in state-of-the-art facilities. With a team of highly skilled urological surgeons, nurses, and support staff, we strive to offer the highest level of patient-centered care, ensuring safety, comfort, and successful outcomes for all our patients.

• The Support Specialist interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff
• Admits patients and processes patient paperwork
• Updates patient demographics/information in the system
• Collects monies due and documents in the billing system
• Handle funds per office procedure
• Answer incoming phone calls

• High school graduate or equivalent
• One year of previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred
• Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties
• Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required
• Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial
• Bilingual preferred
• Good communication skills

Pay Range - Min: $20.66 to Max: $23.64
