Office Assistant / On-Call Caregiver (CNA Required) Employment Details

Employment Type: Full-Time

Hours: 35 hours per week

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (In-Office & Remote)

On-Call Requirement: After-Hours, and One Weekend Day

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and highly flexible Office Assistant / On-Call Caregiver to support both administrative operations and emergency caregiving needs. This hybrid role combines office-based responsibilities with direct client care coverage when urgent staffing needs arise. The ideal candidate is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is organized, responsive, and able to adapt quickly in fast‑paced or time‑sensitive situations.

Primary

Responsibilities Administrative & Office Support
  • Assist with daily office operations including scheduling, phone and email communication, and documentation
  • Coordinate caregiver schedules and help resolve staffing gaps
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and client/caregiver information
  • Support management with administrative tasks as needed
  • Work a combination of in-office and remote days
On-Call & Caregiving Responsibilities
  • Be available for after‑hours and one weekend day per week for on‑call support
  • Respond promptly to emergency staffing needs and last‑minute call‑outs
  • Provide direct caregiving services when required, following established care plans and protocols
Required Qualifications
  • Active CNA license
  • CPR, FIRST AID or BLS
  • TB test
  • Previous hands‑on caregiving experience
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Dependable, flexible, and responsive
  • Reliable transportation for shift coverage
