Weighs or measures raw materials to ensure an accurate material blend in accordance with product specifications;
Loads and operates shredder/granulator and Sortex equipment, using plant scrap and purchased material;
Performs preventative maintenance tasks on Sortex and shredder equipment (filter cleaning, glass cleaning, etc.);
Operates and monitors material blenders and quickly identifies and communicates problems to a supervisor;
Cleans blenders for material changeovers
