Overview

Post Falls,  | The Links Golf Course in Post Falls,  looking for an energetic, motivated Golf Professional to join our team and help lead the continued growth of our vibrant, community-centered course. Our amenities include a well-stocked golf shop, a practice facility with nearly 30 hitting stations, a full-size chipping and pitching green. The Links Lounge is a good size golf-centric restaurant, complete with Trackman Simulators.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team who is already a PGA Professional or is very close to completing their PGA certification and ready to take the next step in their career.

Key responsibilities
  • Help lead and grow our established men s and women s leagues
  • Coordinate, plan, organize, and execute tournaments and events with a high level of professionalism. Use Golf Genius to manage leagues, scoring, pairings, and tournament operations
  • Establish and provide instruction and clinics for all ages and skill levels – juniors, adults, women s programs, and group clinics
  • Work closely with our long-standing staff and ownership team to support a positive, collaborative work environment
  • Bring fresh energy and ideas to continue elevating the golfer experience at The Links
  • Assist with daily golf operations and overall customer service excellence
  • Responsible for the monthly, accurate, physical counts of both merchandise and food and beverage inventory
  • Act as a super user for golf course point of sales system and tee sheet
  • Provide leadership and management support across golf shop operations — work collaboratively with long-standing team members
  • Oversee and schedule the cart crew, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Bring fresh ideas and energy to enhance the golfer experience
What We re Looking For
  • PGA Professional or currently enrolled in the PGA program and near completion
  • Experience running leagues, teaching, and managing tournaments
  • Strong working knowledge of Golf Genius
  • Prior management or supervisory experience
  • A team-oriented mindset and ability to work well with a seasoned, dedicated staff
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with the energy to engage our golfers and grow our programs
  • Passion for player development, customer service, and community involvement
  • Food and beverage experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation & Benefits

The club will provide a competitive compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes but not limited to:

  • Base comp range of $40,000-$47,500 based on experience and qualifications of successful candidate, likely paid hourly format
  • 100% of lesson income for private (1:1) lessons; special focus should be on social group/clinic instruction for women, juniors, couples, men, etc. Recently this has been in the $1,500-3,500 range, but is entirely based on the candidate s ability to drive consumer/member engagement in programming they create.
  • The Links GC will pay PGA dues when in "good standing"
  • Will receive immediate family golf privileges at off-peak times per facility policy
