Warehouse Inventory Specialist

What You'll Do

• Audit any daily inventory reports; transits, lost sales, back stock audits, deleted locations, receipt exceptions, and out of stock.
• Prepare defective merchandise for disposition which includes contacting vendors.
• Prepare shipments for return to vendors.
• Communicate with vendors and buyers, customers and customer service when a problem exists with merchandise.
• Prepare manifest for salvage and schedule pick up.
• Excellent attendance and reliable predictability a must.
• Adhere to DC housekeeping guidelines.
• Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work 100% of the time moving about in the work area.
• Ability to perform work tasks while bending, stooping, lifting, and squatting.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Must be able to identify and count merchandise.
• Must be able to operate a handheld scanner.
• Must be able to operate heavy equipment at high elevations.
• We're willing to train those who are eager to learn.

• Large scale cycle counts (500 - 10,000).
• RF scanner experience.

• 5 AM start time.
• Weekends off.
• $18.40/hour.
