Job Overview
Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a Clinical Support Analyst to join the IT team. The Clinical Systems Analyst supports the planning, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of information systems and applications within the NWSH Information Services Department. This role works closely with clinical and business teams to develop workflows, configure systems, deploy applications, and provide training and support for clinical systems. The position requires a strong understanding of EMR technical infrastructure, the ability to work with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and comfort providing both remote and in‑person support.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand business needs and project impacts are essential.
Preferred Experience
- Comprehensive EHR support experience (preferably Meditech).
- Degree or certificate in a healthcare discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience; CMA or LPN preferred.
- Minimum three years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- In-depth understanding of hospital workflows and medical terminology.
- Effective written and oral communication skills, including active listening and clear writing.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to promote teamwork and ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical or complex concepts to a lay person.
- Ability to work independently and self‑motivate in pursuit of broad objectives.
- Ability to acquire and assimilate new knowledge and skills quickly.
- Ability to provide appropriate and constructive feedback to other analysts and peers.
- Ability to effectively interact with and work around a wide variety of staff roles and people.
