PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT - SLEEP CENTER
Northwest Specialty is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to join our Sleep Center Team. The PA will provide comprehensive, high-quality care to patients with sleep-related disorders in collaboration with and under the supervision of a Sleep Medicine Physician. Responsibilities include performing detailed patient assessments, contributing to the diagnosis and management of sleep disorders, coordinating diagnostic testing, and developing individualized treatment and follow-up plans.
The PA supports continuity of care, patient education, and treatment adherence while ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines, regulatory standards, and organizational policies. Effective collaboration with physicians, clinical teams, and referring providers is essential to support positive patient outcomes and advance the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The PA demonstrates strong communication skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to work in high-demand environments with patience, empathy, and professional resilience.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Preferred Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current NCCPA certification required.
- Idaho Physician Assistant license or ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Current DEA registration or ability to obtain.
- Current AHA BLS certification required.
- Knowledge of evidence-based sleep medicine practices and clinical guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment.
- Previous clinical experience in sleep medicine, pulmonology, neurology, or internal medicine preferred.
- Experience managing PAP therapy and interpreting sleep studies preferred.
