Position: ENDOSCOPY TECHNICIAN - ENDOSCOPY

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a registered nurse, the Endoscopy Technician assists physicians performing endoscopic procedures in the endoscopy unit and the operating room.

Duties include:

  • Setting up and disconnecting endoscopic equipment safely.
  • Reprocessing scopes according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Obtaining specimens for analysis.
  • Assisting in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment.
  • Working efficiently under pressure and demonstrating patience, tact, stamina, and endurance.
Qualifications and

Preferred Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must achieve CPR certification within 60 days of employment.
  • Strong communication skills in verbal and written English for patient care and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently with good time management.
  • Previous experience in an endoscopy or similar clinical setting preferred.
  • CNA license preferred although not required.
