Accountant, Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting

• Record and maintain accurate transactional records, including in the general ledger and in related subledgers (Cash/AR/AP/inventory/fxed assets/expense/etc.).
• Reconcile and resolve discrepancies for general ledger accounts, bank records, and related subledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing and interpreting monthly financial statements, related reports, supplier requests, and 1099s.
• Support and actively participate in month‑end and year‑end close.
• Perform basic data analysis to identify trends or issues.
• Assist with internal and external audits, and adherence to related controls.
• Assist with various projects as requested, including working with teams across the company.
• Provide accounting support and technical knowledge for government‑funded and government‑contracted (DCAA) programs.
• Maintain a high standard of ethics and knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
• Assist with budgets and forecasts, AR collections, AP dispute resolution, and manufacturing operations projects, as needed. Create or update procedures for all accounting functions.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

• 1+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with government contracts, DCAA, regulated environments, or audit support preferred.

• Ability to understand and manage financial data in ERP systems (Intuitive, or similar).
• Ability to analyze detailed financial and operational data.
• One-year general or managerial accounting experience (preferred).
• Strong competency for experience level in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledge of core accounting principles (debits/credits, assets/liabilities/equity, T‑accounts, financial statements and their relationships).

• Effective communication skills (spoken and written), comfortable communicating with both internal and external customers.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Confident, self‑motivated, and able to take constructive criticism.
• Critical thinking skills with ability to identify process improvements.
• Attention to detail with ability to review own work.
