Duties
* You will serve as a first line Electrician Supervisor charged with exercising supervision over subordinate workers in accomplishing electrician work.
* You will deliver cost, schedule, and quality performance to our customers.
* You will be responsible for the quality and quantity of the work performed by subordinates, requiring the application of expert knowledge of the methods, techniques, processes, procedures, tools, materials, and practices of the electrician trade.
* You will clearly communicate performance standards to subordinates.
* You will plan the use of workers, equipment, facilities, materials, and tools for the assigned units of work.
* You will effectively communicate work assignments to subordinates.
* You will conduct planning reviews with assigned personnel, engineers, and technicians of support codes when needed.
* You will monitor the status of assigned work in relation to the overall scheduled requirements. Requirements Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
* Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR .
* This position may require the ability to work in small and/or confined spaces. Qualifications Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
