Registered Nurse; Emergency Room

Position: Registered Nurse (Emergency Room)
Gia Care Inc. is accepting applications for experienced, civilian Registered Nurses (Emergency Room) to work alongside the Navy Medical and Readiness Training Command, in support of Portsmouth Navy Medical Center (Virginia).

Qualifications:

Degree: Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). May be a graduate of a state accredited professional nursing program OR a program accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Certification: N/A

Life Support Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Trauma Nurse Care Course (TNCC)

Experience: One year of experience in emergency nursing, after graduation.

Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
