Shifts are normally scheduled between 06:45 - 19:15 and 18:45 - 07:15
ON-CALL – The employee shall provide on-call coverage for one shift, every 12 weeks rotating
Qualifications:
RNs must have an Associates or Bachelor’s degree (preferred) from an ACEN or CCNE accredited Nursing program
RN shall have a full and unrestricted license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia
must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively apply all aspects of the nursing process within a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice setting.
A minimum of eighteen (18) months of full-time experience as an RN working in a PICU within the last twenty-four (24) months.
Possess and maintain BLS (Basic Life Support) (American Heart Association)
Possess and maintain ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Possess and maintain PALS certification (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Possess and maintain NRP certification (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Possess and maintain S.T.A.B.L.E. certification (Sugar, Temperature, Blood Pressure, Labs and Emotional Support)
