Operations Manager

Rainbow Restoration of Chesapeake is growing, and we’re looking for a Project Coordinator to be the glue that holds our restoration projects together. This role is critical to our success — you help our Project Managers focus on the work in the field while you keep the paperwork, schedules, and communication tight behind the scenes.

What You’ll DoAs a Project Coordinator, you’ll support multiple Project Managers and work closely with customers, vendors, insurance adjusters, and internal teams to keep jobs moving forward efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Coordinate and support multiple restoration projects from start to closeout
- Maintain organized, audit-ready job files (notes, photos, documents, contracts)
- Track missing documentation and follow up same day to close gaps
- Prepare billing and closeout packets so jobs are invoice-ready
- Collect daily production reports and verify accurate time entries
- Schedule material deliveries and coordinate with vendors
- Assist with estimates, change orders, and supplements
- Provide regular project status updates to Project Managers
- Help remove roadblocks that slow down jobs or billing
- Support customer satisfaction efforts and payment collection

Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3–5 years of experience in construction, restoration, or a related industry
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfortable working with multiple projects at once
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel
- Ability to work in fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environments
- Experience in restoration or insurance-driven work
- Familiarity with estimating or project management software
- Experience coordinating with vendors, adjusters, or subcontractors
Physical Requirements
- Office, warehouse, and job-site environments
- Occasional exposure to damaged properties (water, fire, mold environments)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Moderate to high noise levels at times

CompensationPay for this position ranges from $45K - $50K/year.
