Responsibilities Will Include
  • Receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse and technical workshops.
  • Verifying that incoming deliveries correspond to the quality and quantity ordered, informing relevant departments regarding any shortages or reject items.
  • Packing of goods for despatch/carrier booking which may include heavy lifting.
  • Ensuring compliance with delivery procedures and that all documentation is collated and stored effectively.
  • Compiling purchased stock and manufactured items in line with planned production orders.
  • Systematic stock reconciliation.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring timely reordering of stock where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements, including receipts, issues, and adjustments.
  • Be highly organised and deliver on set objectives successfully and efficiently to set deadlines.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of stores areas.
  • Adhere to all health and safety elements in line with company policy.
  • Support other departments when required.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Previous experience with receiving stock/goods or in a store keeping capacity.
  • Current clean driving licence
  • Proficient in the use of ERP systems, Microsoft Office 365 packages including Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items within the bounds of safe working practices.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Good team working skills and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work flexibly to support the needs of the business.

Note:

Due to the nature of work undertaken at Sub Sea Craft, the selected candidate must be capable of meeting the security requirements of the position, which would include as a minimum existing right to live and work in the UK, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), with UK National security clearance required for certain roles.*
