Aqua Aerobics Instructor

We’re on the looking for confident customer focused Aqua Aerobic Instructors. You must be passionate about both the mental and physical benefits that this low impact, full body workout can bring to all ages and fitness levels.

Based at our Hillsea site, you’ll be running fun, engaging classes of this full body workout in an amazing open water setting. We are looking for people with experience of running open water Aqua Aerobic classes and have a passion for health and wellbeing.

Every day will bring new energy and fresh faces, but your goal stays the same: connect with our customers, ensure safe use of the pool, and create fun and engaging Aqua Aerobic classes.

• Ensure classes are safe and inviting for all users through using your skills and experience
• Encourage repeat visitor usage by providing excellent customer interaction to users.
• Engaging with all your customers wherever they are new or experienced in Aqua aerobics
• Create an environment where customers feel comfortable to ask for advice.

• Deliver a friendly, motivating customer experience and make every conversation count.
• Create a fun and active environment so all users feel comfortable and engaged whilst undertaking the class.
• Build real relationships that lead to long‑term, happy members.

• Work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure a smooth customer journey
• Share ideas to grow participation and develop the Aqua Aerobics programme.
• Be ready to get involved at outreach events and in the community networking.

• A natural people person who enjoys talking, connecting, and inspiring people
• Motivated by providing a safe and welcoming environment for all class customers where they can feel comfortable and safe when attending a class
• Passionate about health, fitness, and community

• Aqua Aerobic Instructor Qualification
• Previous open water aqua aerobic instructing
• Confident with interacting with customers in both friendly and assertive situations.
• Health and safety understanding

• Welcoming and approachable.
• Positive, and confident in your abilities
• A team player who supports others
• Independent and able to stay motivated when working alone

• Hours to be agreed around the class programme
• Full training and ongoing support
• Competitive contractual pay, £29.06 per hour (subject to increase if applicable)
