Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of plumbing and mechanical systems, including water and medical gas supply.
  • Efficiently repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot plumbing fixtures, valves, and outlets.
  • Maintain waste and vent lines using specialized tools like plumber's snakes, vacuum plungers, and jet washers.
  • Collaborate with team members and contractors on projects requiring plumbing expertise, ensuring timely completion.
  • Perform safety inspections and preventive maintenance on backflow devices (with certifications).
  • Provide training to staff members on light plumbing maintenance and repairs.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, coordinating additional assistance when necessary.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned to support facility maintenance.
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum Plumbing City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2/3 certification.
  • Relevant maintenance experience.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and good communication.
