Offshore Installation Electrician - £40,000 (basic), £53,000 to £57,000 OTE

A highly reputable mechanical and electrical services provider-supporting industrial, defence and specialist service organisations-is seeking an Electrical Installation Engineer to join their unique offshore installation team. This is a rare opportunity to work on some of the UK's most iconic and remote structures: lighthouses.
You'll join a dedicated team of electricians delivering high‑quality electrical installations and stainless‑steel containment systems across the UK coastline. If you're looking for a role that's technically rewarding, adventurous, and far from ordinary, this is it.
The Role
Working as part of a specialist installation team, you will:
Install high‑quality electrical services and stainless‑steel containment systems
Work on lighthouse structures across the UK (offshore and remote locations)
Travel nationwide with full lodge, travel and subsistence provided
Deliver work to an exceptional standard of presentation and compliance
Work away from home for 10-20 days at a time, followed by extended rest periods
Example: 16 days working, 6 days off (weekends loaded at the end of the project)
What You'll Need
18th Edition (essential)
C&G 2357 NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (essential)
Proven expertise in stainless steel containment installation
Strong attention to detail and high‑quality workmanship
Ability to work as part of a close‑knit installation team
Willingness to travel nationwide and work offshore for extended periods

£53,000 - £57,000 OTE per annum
