Portsmouth Solent Vets for Pets RVN vacancy

Portsmouth Solent Vets for Pet has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join an established friendly team. We are a forward‑thinking practice who pride ourselves on the quality of care we have been giving to all our patients, clients and community since 1997.

Our nurses are truly valued, and we encourage our nurse team to run regular nurse clinics and carry out schedule 3 procedures where they feel confident. Portsmouth Solent Vets for Pet offers a varied caseload so you can enjoy a fulfilling mix of theatre, assisting and carrying out dental procedures, inpatient care, consulting and other responsibilities. The rota ensures variety and balance, helping you to find genuine job satisfaction (1/4 Saturdays - closed on Sundays).

We are a 100% small animal practice which has excellent facilities including facilities that encourage nurse‑led clinics such as a K‑Laser. We have all the usual quality kit (multi‑parameter monitors, ultrasound, in‑house Idexx laboratory machines, digital x‑ray facilities including dental, endoscope, tonopen, blood pressure machine, syringe driver, infusion pumps etc). We also have dedicated dog, cat and isolation wards and run a full range of nurse‑led clinics daily.

We encourage CPD, with several of our nurses having gained extra certifications. Our 10+ strong nurse team has a range of experience and roles from VCAs to RVNs. We have a website:  with more details.
