Sales Manager – Snows Toyota (Waterlooville, Hampshire)
This is a fantastic opportunity to run a busy, high‑performing new and used car dealership. Snows Toyota in Waterlooville is seeking a Sales Manager who will take ownership of process, accountability, and culture while driving consistent results.
This role is for a leader who knows that results come from habits, not heroics, and thrives on coaching, developing, and raising standards.
The RoleYou’ll lead the sales team day‑to‑day, improving both performance and professionalism.
- Coach, motivate, and hold sales consultants accountable
- Ensure consistent CRM usage, follow‑up, and adherence to sales processes
- Run daily meetings and one‑to‑ones
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to develop the team
- Improve close rates, customer experience, and team engagement
- Address performance and conduct issues fairly and professionally
- Work closely with the GM to balance volume, gross and customer experience
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention
This is a hands‑on leadership role where setting standards and enforcing accountability is central to success.
What We’re Looking For- Proven experience leading a sales team (automotive preferred)
- Strong focus on process, structure, and accountability
- Calm, professional management style — firm but fair
- Comfortable having difficult conversations
- Data‑driven and organised
- Track record of improving team culture and consistency
- You rely on ego or shouting to manage people
- You avoid CRM, reporting, or accountability
- You want to “just work the desk” rather than develop a team
- Competitive basic salary with performance‑related bonus
