Chubb Fire & Security is currently recruiting a Logistics Coordinator to be based around the Portsmouth and surrounding area. You will be supporting our team of Portable Fire Extinguisher (PFX) Engineers. The main goal of this role is to coordinate all aspects of the supply‑chain operations and warehousing within the branch, whilst supporting Engineers with the installation of Fire Extinguishers in the field (full training provided).

: £25,000 + Company Van + Commission + Overtime

What You Will Be Doing As a Logistics Coordinator

This is a busy and varied position where you will support our PFX team across various branch departments, including Stores (warehousing), Office/Customer support, with around 50% of your day out in the field where you will support Engineers with installations of Fire Extinguishers as well as making deliveries to our customers and satellite branches.

  • Process all incoming deliveries
  • Pick and pack orders
  • Organise dispatch and delivery of goods
  • Deliver out to any remote engineers not covered by a satellite location
  • Commission fire extinguishers
  • Install fire extinguishers on customer sites
  • Ensure products are stored safely and clearly marked with product codes
  • Maintain a high level of communication with the sales team
  • Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring the physical stock is in line with the warehouse management system
  • Promote Chubb solutions to customers whilst onsite (commission available)
  • Lead and support continuous improvement of warehouse processes to deliver excellent customer service levels
Working Hours

37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday (start times between 7.00 am/8.00 am)

What We Would Like You To Bring
  • Ideally experience working in a warehouse or logistics
  • Strong IT skills across Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Customer‑focused with the ability to build relationships
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence (50% of our day will be in the field)
