Maintenance Plumber

Position: Maintenance Plumber (Permanent)
As a Facilities Engineer, you will play an important role ensuring the facilities, plant and equipment across an important R&D site is fully operational. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for the delivery of maintenance across all aspects of building services undertaking planned preventive maintenance, repair, and reactive tasks.

Your responsibilities will include:

Provide maintenance support (including planned, preventive & corrective maintenance) in relation to site services, plant / equipment & buildings
Deliver specialist maintenance support & services in relation to building plant / equipment
Breakdown complex tasks and then execute the planned schedule of work
Prioritisation of work programme to satisfy business needs
Form part of the on call rota within the Maintenance Team Qualifications &

Experience of the Plumber:

Strong knowledge of building systems across all disciplines with a key competency in plumbing, HVAC or gas maintenance
NVQ 2 in plumbing or equivalent
You must be eligible to obtain MoD Security clearance
Full UK driving licence This role is 37 hours per week based in Portsmouth. Shift patterns for this role are 07::30 Monday - Thursday and 07::00 on Fridays. There is a 1 week in 5 On Call rota and ample overtime opportunities.
