Solution Architect - Oracle Fusion

The Application Architect is the design authority for the Oracle Fusion implementation, responsible for owning, challenging, and signing off the Fusion application design.

• Own the end-to-end Oracle Fusion application design
• Act as final design sign-off authority across all Fusion modules
• Review, challenge, and approve SI (IBM) solution designs
• Ensure designs meet functional, technical, and non-functional requirements
• Prevent over-customisation and unnecessary complexity

• Provide credible, evidence-based challenge to SI architects
• Validate design assumptions, estimates, and sequencing
• Ensure Oracle best practice is applied appropriately
• Escalate design risks and concerns early

• Ensure Fusion design aligns with:
• Enterprise architecture principles
• Integration and data strategies
• Security and environment standards
• Work closely with Data, Integration, and Security leads
• Support architectural decisions through later delivery waves

• Work closely with the Technology Programme Manager
• Provide architectural input into planning, risk, and dependencies
• Support design governance forums and decision boards

• Deep, hands-on Oracle Fusion application architecture experience
• Strong knowledge across Fusion modules (HCM, Payroll, Procurement)
• Experience acting as design authority on large ERP / Fusion programmes
• Proven ability to challenge SI solution designs
• Experience working through design and early delivery phases

• Experience of multi-wave Fusion implementations
• Experience in complex enterprise environments
• Prior exposure to IBM or Tier-1 SI delivery models
