Based on the South Coast, you will be a clinician with secondary mental health care experience within a vital new team created to deliver improved community-based care for people who have difficulties which could relate to a diagnosis of personality disorder or complex emotional needs.
You will deliver a trauma-informed recovery-focused Personality & Trauma Response programme to support people who are at points of their care journey where distress and change can be difficult. Following meaningful co-production, this group programme of occupational, social, peer & psychological interventions will deliver consistency, enable creativity, connection and hope. For this reason we aim to recruit a team with varied professional backgrounds and a common passion for this work.
This is a key part of the exciting work being undertaken in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire geographical area, in response to the Community Mental Health Framework and is currently titled 'Personality & Trauma Response'. This position may offer opportunities to also train as a DBT Therapist and undertake work related to your core profession. This team will work with colleagues in the service and with local providers to innovate, raise awareness and share knowledge in order that people can live valued lives in their communities. This will include being part of the Recovery College team which is expanding to provide coproduced recovery-focussed education for all (carers, people who access or work in services & members of the public) across the Hampshire Isle of Wight area.

£38,682 to £46,580 a year Please note for part time hours the salary will be pro rata
