The Role:

Credit Controller

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Credit Controller to join our fast paced Accounts team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensure timely payments, resolve account queries, and build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. If you are proactive, organised, and confident this could be the role for you.

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts
• Maintain a personal allocated ledger of accounts
• Collection of overdue accounts using all available methods
• Maintain accurate records within SAP
• Respond promptly and professionally to client and internal enquiries
• Manage account queries to resolution
• Answer customer queries in a timely manner
• Resolve account queries and disputed invoices to ensure payments fall within agreed terms
• Develop a strong working knowledge of your customer base to allow for effective collection
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external customers
• Engage and manage the process of debts
• Identify high risk or problematic debts that require escalation
• Set up new customers accounts and perform credit checks
• Update accounts and CRM systems
• Monitor credit reports

• Previous credit control experience is required
• SAP experience xlqdzyr is advantageous
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident telephone manner
• Strong analytical, comprehension and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and enjoy working within a team environment
• Strong IT and system skills
• Good organisational skills, able to adhere to deadlines
