Full-time, Monday to Friday

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at our Portsmouth office. This is a fully office-based role, ideal for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Processing purchase and sales invoices

* Bank reconciliations

* Assisting with month-end procedures

* Managing accounts payable and receivable

* Maintaining accurate financial records

* Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc accounting duties

Requirements:

* AAT qualified or studying towards AAT (essential)

* Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Good working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel

* Excellent organisational and communication skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
