Broad Oak Hourly rate: £41.87 PAYE or £56.44 Umbrella inside IR35 Onsite: onsite Monday – Friday Full time – 37 hours per week An exciting opportunity has arisen for a System Administrator to support the Lightning Systems Integration Facility (LSIF) located at the Maritime Integration & Support Centre (MISC) on Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth. The facility supports the testing and integration of the F-35 Lightning II aircraft within the UK military infrastructure, providing a highly technical and secure environment for system integration activities.

This role will be responsible for the administration, maintenance and security of the LSIF IT systems, ensuring they are configured and available to support ongoing testing and integration activities. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, engineering teams and users to ensure systems remain operational and aligned with project requirements.

Skills:

Windows Server administration including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, Disk Management, WSUS patching, and Hyper-V virtualisation. Experience monitoring system logs and security tools such as Solar Winds, Kiwi Syslog, Splunk, and Trellix ePO. Knowledge of network infrastructure including Cisco/Forti Gate devices, LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and firewalls.
