Responsibilities Will Include

Commercial Support & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Represent Sub Sea Craft with military, government, and industry stakeholders during deployments, demonstrations, and customer engagements.
  • Support commercial teams by providing operational and technical context during customer discussions, evaluations, and trials.
  • Identify emerging customer needs, integration challenges, and follow-on opportunities, feeding insight into commercial strategy, product development, and future bids.
  • Contribute to post-activity reporting, customer debriefs, and engagement planning to support pipeline development and long-term partnerships.
  • Build customer confidence through professional delivery, technical credibility, and reliable performance in the field.

Operator Enablement & Technical Integration

  • Act as the on-site technical interface between end users, engineers, programme teams, and customer stakeholders.
  • Support operator training, system familiarisation, and live activity execution.
  • Translate operational intent and customer requirements into actionable technical feedback for engineering and product teams.
  • Support platform integration and refinement by closing the loop between operational use and technical development.

Deployment, Logistics & Technical Execution

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute the end-to-end deployment of Sub Sea Craft platforms for demonstrations, exercises, and operational activities in the UK and internationally.
  • Prepare, configure, deploy, maintain, fault-find, and recover platforms and supporting systems in operationally relevant environments.
  • Manage shipment life cycles, including transportation planning, coordination with logistics teams, and advance party / remain-behind support for mobilisation and recovery.
  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to customs, export controls, and regulatory requirements.

Safety, Risk & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to risk assessments, support trial plans and safety planning for expeditionary activities.
  • Operate in accordance with company HSE, maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
  • Identify and resolve technical, logistical, and operational challenges to maintain deployment timelines and contractual commitments.
  • Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across technical delivery, deployment processes, and customer outcomes.

Team & Leadership

  • Operate under Mission Success leadership or independently during expeditionary deployments, remaining closely connected to UK-based teams.
