Employer:

Portsmouth High School – GDST

Location:

Portsmouth High School GDST, Kent Road, Southsea, PO5 3EQ

Contract:

Permanent, Part Time, Term Time only

Hours:

22.5 hrs per week (split shift), Monday to Friday

Salary: GDST Regional Support Grade 2 (£26,088 pa pro rata – £12,926 per year)

Responsibilities
  • Transport students to and from school
  • Conduct safety checks
  • Develop positive, professional relationships with children and their parents/carers
  • Work within the safeguarding framework
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minibus driving licence (mandatory)
  • Car licence holder who can work towards a D1 licence (considered for right candidate)
  • Commitment to remain in the post for a minimum of 2 years upon successful training completion
  • Excellent driving skills
  • Pass child protection checks (including online searches, employer checks and DBS)
  • Right to work in the UK
