Substitute Teacher

Overview

Teaching Personnel is working in close partnership with a large, co-educational secondary school recently rated Good in all areas by Ofsted. The school is looking to appoint enthusiastic and flexible educators to provide ad-hoc classroom cover during staff absences across a variety of subjects. Located in a coastal community, this high-achieving and dynamic secondary school offers a supportive and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to reach their full academic and personal potential.

• As a substitute teacher, you will oversee pre-planned lessons, maintain a calm and productive learning environment, and ensure students remain engaged throughout the day.
• You will be expected to follow the school’s behaviour management and safeguarding procedures, collect completed work, and provide feedback to permanent staff when appropriate.

• Educators working with Teaching Personnel benefit from flexible working patterns, with both advance bookings and short-notice opportunities available.
• Weekly pay is processed every Friday via PAYE, and you will receive ongoing support from a dedicated personal consultant.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
