About the Role:

A larger than average Primary school, close to central Portsmouth is seeking an experienced Year 4 teacher starting March  2026 until the end of the academic year.  This is a role with full class teacher responsibilities.

You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing a Year 4 class, working closely with year group partners and contributing to a multi- academy life.  The role includes full teaching responsibilities and offers support from an experienced SLT and the wider trust for CPD opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

Qualified and experienced Primary Teacher
Confident in managing classroom routines and expectations.
Able to work effectively as part of a team.
Skilled in adapting teaching to meet a range of pupil needs, including SEND and EHCPs within the classroom
Consistent, adaptive and inclusive professionals
Requirements

UK-recognised teaching qualification.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
Compliance with DfE and Safer Recruitment standards.
