Are you passionate about supporting young people in education? Teaching Personnel is seeking reliable, flexible Ad Hoc Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across schools in the Portsmouth area
. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy variety, want to gain experience in different educational settings, or need flexible working hours.
As an Ad Hoc LSA, you will:
Provide one-to-one or small-group support to pupils with additional learning needs
Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson preparation
Adapt learning activities to meet student needs
Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Work on a day-to-day or short-notice basis depending on school requirements
Experience in a school, SEN, care, or youth-work environment is highly beneficial
A patient, supportive, and proactive attitude
Strong communication skills
Flexibility and reliability
A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
Competitive pay at £13.75 per hour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
